The Mequon PD, through the Mequon Community Foundation, is adding a K9 officer to transition from K9 Officer Iron, who is nearing retirement. To acquire, train and integrate a patrol/narcotics K9 is vital to keeping Mequon the safest community in Wisconsin. Funding is also needed for a new specially equipped vehicle, a handler officer for one year, and related equipment.
Our goal was $150,000 with a target date of June 30, 2020. As of June 11th, we are 86% there!
To raise aweness and funds, we are co-hosting an event with Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson that will include 2 hour ride that starts and ends wherever the heck you want it to. New to this area? Here's Thiensville (Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson)
